Harvesting Eulachon. Its the beginning of the Eulachon (Oolichan) season in the Skeena River. Eulachon are small oily fish that make their way up the Skeena River to spawn in late winter / early spring. Observing this event is one of my favorite signs of spring.
A favorite find while exploring the woods was this gnarly old hemlock tree. I tend to love twisted trees that offer so much character.
